Jane Cullen obtained permission to speak at the meeting of July 27th. You can read her statement here.
After the meeting she commented:
“Today went fine but did not actually achieve anything beyond me learning a lot – I delivered my statement and had to reframe it as a question which was slightly odd.
I suppose maybe a little dab of human interest but the whole thing was very passive and everything voted through. Their whole meeting lasted less than an hour!
Learnt a lot. I was interviewed by Radio Shropshire and was included in the item at round 5.15 today.
Cabinet is too late in the process (I expect you all knew that) but it was overall worthwhile – for the next time.”
