Additionally in an unprecedented move, rival newspapers have got together for joint editorials to celebrate all we hold in common and promote The Great Get Together this weekend. The Sun and The Mirror have joined forces to urge people to take part in the weekend saying that ‘after the turmoil of the past few weeks, it’s exactly what Britain needs’.The editors of The Guardian and The Telegraph have published a joint piece hailing the importance of recognising the #moreincommon message.

Great Get Together street parties are taking place all over the UK soon in memory of Jo.

The Ludlow Women’s Centre and P4L are organising one as part of the Ludlow Fringe Festival.
